  FEAR!! PANIC!! ALARM!!

  i use to be afraid of the dark.i would feel the ___presence__of unseen things.

  creepy stuff.. but, when i became agnostic and left all things religious behind me a very strange side effect took place in my life.

  just this: nothing makes me afraid anymore!.

  Odrade, you got me thinking about a pet store in the city near me.

  They have this HUGE Iguana in there. I didn't know it. I was just kind of meandering around looking at all the cool things. and then I saw it. (TERROR!!!)

  HOLY CRAP!!! It freakin' scared me "shipless". (just the reverse of pooing in your pants)

  The only thing I could think about was those "Kamodo Dragons" in Indonesia that stalk and take down deer. The place where they build their little hut houses on stilts so these dragons don't get in there huts at night.

  Enough said, because I'm typing faster and faster just thinking about this big tail whipping giant.

  Down and out.....

  it's been a very long week.i have spent most of week in the hospital with my nana.. she had a massive heart attack on tuesday and it is not looking good.she has gone down hill fast since pop's passed recentainly.. please say a prayer for her.

  Gees.. I missed this whole thread. .. Glad you bumped it up with an update.

  Sorry, your nana is ill. It is very stressful for family and those in hospital.

  The added stress for your dad and nana is probably having the religion members making them feel guilty is some way. You said,

  All they do is try to make my mom and dad feel guilty

  Being in the hospital is really a time to have supportive people around you, not a time to have to feel guilty.

  I suspect, and I hope, the J.W.'s will leave you folks alone at the hospital now.

  Usually, if you can get them to back away they do tend to get the CO to visit. Now that he has been there and you have let him know your stand and for him to back off. (They just don't seem to get it when you just ask nicely).. religion fog, I guess,I think they will leave you and your family alone at the hospital now.

  Sorry, about your cat, morty. You just didn't need that happening too.

  Angels and Demons was written before Davinci Code.

  I think you should read that one first.

  I read Davinci Code first and then Angels and Demons..

  I wish I would have read Angels and Demons first..

  Dan Brown, the author, plans to have another book to follow up the Davinci Code in 2005.

  how are yall doin' on the self-empowerment experiment?

  i hafta say that while i haven't completely gotten the hang of the sweetness of words and tones of voice, things have drastically changed for the better.

  i've finally gone from no work much at all to plenty of work and none of it has been too taxing, sweet, sweet ppl to deal with and consequently my financial situation is reviving.. any results for yall?

  hi folks,.

  many of you may recall my account of sil's dad.

  he was arrested in early 2002, put on trial in 2003, and spent 6 months of a five year sentence in jail for molesting a young girl of twelve.

  The childmolesters 5 year old grandson seems to have been victimized, in a way, by the government as well.

  double double is two cream and two sugar in your Tim Hortons coffee.. when you order it that is what you say. At the drive thru you hear. "Good mornin' can I take your order." Yes, I'd like a large coffee double double. ... and two apple fritters please." That will be $... please drive through to the first window".

  Toonie is our Canadian two dollar coin. Loonie is our one dollar coin.

  A fritter is a type of donut you can order from Tim Hortons. Doesn't have a whole in it. A nice doughnutty glob with apple chunks mixed in the batter and covered with liquid sugar. They make a nice blueberry fritter as well. (Those are the fritters I'm thinking they mean)... they are sooooo good.

  4 lbs 13 oz - 18.5 inches.
